Leah Anderson, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with fellowship training in surgical obstetrics. She provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, postpartum care, newborn and pediatric care, women’s health, preventive screenings, family planning and chronic condition management.
She is passionate about caring for entire families and building relationships that last through every stage of life. Her patient-centered approach is grounded in listening, honest communication and empathy.
Dr. Anderson earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and completed her Family Medicine Residency and Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. With years of experience in family medicine with obstetrics, she also served as a physician leader, preceptor and mentor to medical students. She looks forward to supporting CPRMC’s upcoming Family Medicine Residency Program.
Outside of work, Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with her husband and three sons. Together, they enjoy camping, boating, fishing, soccer and being outdoors. She also enjoys baking, reading, traveling and serving through her church and local scouting programs.
