She is very attentive and personable.

Dr. Mendez has been my doctor for years. She is kind and listens to me. As a woman of color and an elderly person it is hard to find a doctor who listens to you and treat you like a person. She knows my symptoms and treats them. I trust her, her nurses, and the other staff at the medical group. It is difficult to find a physician that you can trust and know they are doing what's best for you.

I've never had a woman physician before but I can actually say that I'm very happy I do now. Doctor Mendez actually seems to care and shows it by her actions. She takes time to listen and doesn't seem to hurry you along as though you're an inconvenience, or just money walking in her office. I like the fact she listens, then says what she thinks, then actually examines you. Some Dr.s act as though they are scared to touch the patient. I recommend Dr. Mendez to everyone and actually talk about how good she is as a doctor. I've only had 1 doctor I really loved and trusted, so therefore I listened and did everything he recommended. So far, I can see Dr. Mendez being the 2nd doctor I highly regard and trust in the same way.
